The things you need to do to be able to vote for Bernie Sanders in the California Primary

  1. Get registered. You can do this online at http://registertovote.ca.gov/
  2. To vote for Bernie in California primary, ensure you are registered as DEMOCRAT. You can change this after the primary if you want to vote for Bernie as an NPP, No Preferred Party. You must do it by May 23, 2016. Diffrent sources will say you can vote for Bernie in Cali primary if you are already registered NPP. But NPP in primary carries some limitations. Read the site’s info. But to be sure then ensure you are registered Democrat.
  3. VOTE Early – This is the best thing to do to ensure your vote is counted.
  4. Vote in person – Look up in the voter registrar web site you register on where your regional registrar is. This is the second best thing to do to ensure your vote is counted
